Cloud Provisioning

Cloud Provisioning

“The act of deploying a company’s cloud computing strategy. This includes but is not limited to determining cost, reliability, fault tolerance and security. When a cloud is provisioned all of the infrastructure needs to be planned, applications that migrate to the cloud need to be rolled out, and any new software development needs to be roadmapped. This is typically done at the executive level by a CTO or CIO and then implemented by technology teams.”

What do we mean by this?

Setting up a new enterprise ship: getting wifi, laser services, operational procedures, holodeck lights, etc.
